FALL CLEANSING
One of the best ways to mark the turning of Summer into Fall and to advance your health and wellness is to do a Fall Cleanse. Fall cleansing also a good way to ward off the barrage of potential illnesses that are looking for ready hosts. Juice-Water-Juice cleansing is not for everyone, but it is the fastest and most effective way to effect a deep cleanse.
Juice – Water – Juice Cleansing
Here’s what I recommend to clients whose health status is appropriate for a “Full Fall Cleanse”:
* Eat a wheat free and vegan diet for 7 days with plenty of fresh, whole foods. Take no alcohol or caffeine.
* Next consume only dilute fruit or vegetable juices and vegetable soups and broths for 1-3 days.
* Drink only water for 1 day. (Perhaps longer under medical supervision.)
* Return to dilute juices and broths for 1-3 days.
* Eat wheat free and vegan for at least another seven days.
Cleansing is a great time to enjoy (and to reestablish) a practice of gentle exercise, getting plenty of rest, meditation, gardening, music, art and other creative pursuits.
What to Expect?
Most people report that cravings pass quickly and are replaced by a feeling a calmness and clarity that was unknown before.
