About Dr. Morris

Philosophy

I believe in the body’s ability to heal itself.  I see my job as partnering with patients in the development of diet and lifestyle habits that maximally promote health while also avoiding and reversing illness. When symptom relief is indicated, I will always work to identify and treat the root cause–not just mask symptoms. At times, the use of nutritional supplements, herbs, hormones or even pharmaceutical drugs may be appropriate. Whatever the case, I will always work with patients to find the most gentle and effective therapies available.

Specialization

Primary Care, Physical Medicine (including spinal manipulations), Chronic Conditions, Specialty Diets, Fasting & Cleansing, Nutritional Mood Management, Counseling, Conventional Laboratory Diagnosis, Genetic Testing, Alternatives to Pharmaceutical Drugs.

Professional Expertise

In addition to my private practice, I currently teach anatomy & physiology, microbiology, genetics, nutrition, and pharmacology at medical programs around the Puget Sound. I am also currently involved in researching and documenting evidence-based natural health practices for outside corporations and non-profit foundations. I have also helped to launch two new medical laboratories covering convention lab diagnosis, alternative testing, and cutting edge genetic tests.
